Your background
• Experienced, driven, and dynamic leader with minimum 15 years of relevant experience.
• Fully conversant with India Payment & Trade processing & clearing ecosystem that includes NEFT, RTGS, CTS/CHI, IMPS, UPI, SWIFT, Letter of Credit. Bank Guarantee and various other products like Deposits, Loans, eNACH, BBPS (Bill Pay) etc.
• Hands-on management of India’s complex regulatory environment having engagement areas on regulatory exams, audits, risk management etc.
• Ability to operate resourcefully and collaborate across wide span of stakeholders including Business, Bankers, various bank control partners including risk, Information Security and externally with regulators / auditors.
• Strong awareness & focus on Cyber Security and Information Security in general as well as data localization / privacy norms.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage delivery of complex, integration programs / projects in a matrix organization with very strong focus on client & business centric technology solutions.
• Strong technology delivery capability and leadership from strategy alignment, solution design, E2E programs / projects delivery to problem solving.
• Experience in drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessary.
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
• Ability to drive senior level discussions with good communication skills and to influence & work with regional and global partners/stakeholders to drive the program outcomes forward.
• Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and achieve objectives.
• Experience working with product and service vendors, and with the onshore-offshore delivery model. Execution and result oriented. Aptitude for critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making.
• Ability to cultivate a positive team culture and ensure broader collaboration across the enterprise.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; ability to simplify and summarize topics
• Stay abreast of latest technology and industry trends. Be the change agent to influence and drive transformation: e.g., DevOps, Agile development.

What You Can Expect
This role requires an experienced and highly skilled professional to play an active role within the Global Banking Technology with focus area being India Payment Digitization/Data Privacy & India regulatory ecosystem. Measure of success is to meet the business and regulatory demand /complexity. This role requires working with the Lines of Business, other Technology teams across Treasury and Trade domains and Business Control partners within the bank. As a Senior Technology Manager, the candidate will lead the definition of end-to-end strategic road maps and manage progress based on consistent Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes leveraging Waterfall and Agile/SAFe methodologies. In addition, he/she will partner with the Line of Business to manage the programs/projects financials and help drive the overall portfolio towards the strategic road map.
What You Will Do
• Responsible for a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of businesses across Treasury and Trade primarily involving existing as well as emerging India Regulatory clearing schemes.
• Develop the regional thematic view by regulatory regimes and a recommended technology solutions roadmap.
• Facilitate governance routines and create materials for bank management updates.
• Maintain regulatory engagement database of past/upcoming exams and meetings, actions, in-flight and upcoming regulatory change FLU impact assessments.
• Work on enterprise and control partners regulatory-related communications or correspondence.
• Escalate issues and emerging themes. Partner with appropriate stakeholders to develop solutions and deliver mitigating actions in support of successful remediation of the risks.
• Developing standards, processes, tools, and training for bank teams (exams, routines, inquiries).
• Manage pipeline of programs/projects while regularly evaluating priorities in a dynamic environment
• Reporting to and dialogue with, global as well as regional management and risk partners
• Lead the implementation of the core banking technology platform, including successful integration of the platform with firm’s ecosystem.
• Leverage domain and technical expertise to set direction and drive execution of programs/projects. Foresee and proactively address risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Work with business, operations, internal technology teams, and with vendor partners to ensure successful programs/projects delivery
