We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Executive Support to join our Technology Services Group. This role is in New York, NY.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Provide white-glove VIP service for executives which will include support for desktop/laptop hardware, software, mobile devices, cloud applications and collaboration tools.
Serve as Team Lead for Platinum Services team - prioritizing and assigning tasks and events, providing support, and resolving escalations.
Role is “hands-on” and will require direct support for problem resolution
Work directly with Platinum Services leadership to prioritize projects, align resources and keep on track
Lead team through technical issues and disruptions minimizing impact on remit
Establish best practices, develop runbooks, and contribute to comprehensive documentation library.
Coordinate Platinum support resources to ensure adequate coverage during business and off-hours
Lead and manage key vendor relationships; engage with external partners/agencies where needed to leverage appropriate services and technology
Manage multiple and complex parallel projects - ensuring excellent planning, timely delivery and exceptional execution while managing contingencies, changes, and dynamic needs/expectations.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred10-12 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
Highly proficient in end-user computing technologies; Windows OS, software/hardware support, mobile devices, cloud applications and collaboration tools
Knowledge of MS Office 365 cloud technologies
Grasp of technical tools and video conference resources such as: Cisco Telepresence, Cisco WebEx, Microsoft Teams, Zoom
Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence others, gain rapid alignment, and secure support.
Excellent interpersonal skills and experience engaging with executive stakeholders, including C-suite and Boards of Directors.
Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail, able to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines within a dynamic environment
Demonstrated diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $102,000 and $180,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
