Job Description:
As a Video Editor, you will play a pivotal role in producing top-tier video content for our social media channels, events, communications and much more. Key Responsibilities: ● Video Production: Craft high-quality video narrative content (storytelling), encompassing tasks such as cutting story montages, creating trailers, teasers, long-form narratives and short-form reel videos. ● Sound Editing: Oversee the audio aspects of video production, including sound effects, music, and voiceovers, ensuring a balanced and high-quality audio experience. ● Collaboration: Work closely with creative teams to understand project requirements and contribute to the development of visually appealing and engaging video content. ● Adherence to Standards: Follow established standards and guidelines to maintain consistency and quality in all video productions. ● Timely Delivery: Ensure the timely delivery of polished and high-quality video content, meeting project deadlines. ● Asset Management: Maintain an organized library of video assets, raw footage, and project files, ensuring easy retrieval and efficient workflow management. ● Skill Upgrade: Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency. ● Training and Mentorshi
p: Provide guidance and training to junior editors and team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment. Qualifications: ● 3+ years of proven work experience as a video editor. ● Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Final Cut pro / Adobe Premiere / After Effects, etc.). ● Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio. ● Familiarity with special effects and compositing. ● The ability to work under tight deadlines. ● Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset to ensure that the story/content is in sync with the company’s vision. ● Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
