Job Summary:
The Senior Video Editor will be responsible for conceptualizing, editing, and delivering high-quality video content that strengthens the brand's storytelling across digital platforms. This role requires a strong sense of visual aesthetics, storytelling, and motion design along with the ability to lead projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and guide junior editors to maintain creative excellence and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end video editing for brand, social media, marketing, and campaign content.
• Collaborate with the creative, brand, and social media teams to develop engaging video narratives.
• Work closely with producers, designers, and copywriters to execute ideas that align with brand tone and objectives.
• Oversee color grading, sound design, graphics, and motion enhancements.
• Manage and mentor a team of junior editors and freelancers to ensure timely, high-quality output.
• Ensure all video deliverables are optimized for different channels and maintain brand consistency.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field (preferred).
• 4+ years of professional experience in video editing or post-production.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Photoshop.
• Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual composition.
• Understanding of social-first video trends and formats.
• Ability to manage timelines, provide creative direction, and lead a small team.
• A creative eye with meticulous attention to detail and quality.
• Portfolio demonstrating a range of editing styles and storytelling approaches.
Nice to Have:
• Experience in motion graphics, animation, or 3D editing.
• Knowledge of sound design and color correction workflows.
