About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Video Editor to join our dynamic content creation team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in video editing, podcast production, and visual storytelling, focusing on delivering high-quality content for diverse platforms. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple projects, from podcasts to complex motion graphics.

Key Responsibilities:

● Video Editing & Post-Production: Lead the editing of high-quality video content including podcasts, interviews, promotional videos, social media clips, and more. Ensure consistency in tone, style, and pacing across all platforms.

● Podcast Production: Manage the post-production process for podcasts, including audio and video editing, mixing, mastering, and adding relevant graphics, intros, and outros, incorporating motion graphics, titles, transitions, and visual effects to enhance video content.

● Content Strategy: Work closely with the creative team to ensure videos align with the brand’s storytelling, marketing objectives, and audience engagement goals.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with producers and directors to ensure the delivery of high-quality and engaging content that meets project objectives and deadlines.

● Technical Expertise: Stay updated on the latest editing software, equipment, and best practices. Ensure that all content adheres to technical specifications for broadcast and digital platforms.

● Quality Control: Review and provide feedback on the work of junior editors to maintain a high standard of quality and creativity across all projects.

Qualifications:

Experience:

○ 5+ years of video editing experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects (e.g., podcasts, marketing videos, social media content, etc.)
○ Proven experience in editing podcasts and/or similar long-form audio/video content.
○ Familiarity with designing visual content and incorporating motion graphics.

● Skills:
○ Advanced proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, AI Image and Video Generation, and Color Grading
○ Strong understanding of audio editing software like Adobe Audition or Audacity.
○ Strong Knowledge of graphic design and animation tools such as After Effects or Motion.
○ Strong storytelling skills, with a keen eye for pacing, structure, and audience engagement.

● Creative Problem Solver:

Ability to think creatively and bring fresh ideas to video projects.

● Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring every cut, transition, and effect aligns with the project’s vision.

● Time Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

● Team Player: Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience in producing branded content for You Tube, social media, or other online platforms.

● Knowledge of color grading, sound design, and 3D animation is a plus.

● Experience working in a fast-paced creative agency or production environment.
