Intro:
Study abroad industry is a recession proof industry growing tremendously since the past 5+ years. In 2016 about 4.5 lakh Indian students went abroad and according to a report by Redseer over 18 lakh students are likely to go abroad in 2026.
Yocket is India’s largest study abroad platform with over 1 million students who have used it in the past 8 years to get into their dream universities abroad.
You’ll be an integral part of our rockstar marketing team working closely with the co-founder, other marketing team members, product, sales and student success teams. The work that you do will have a direct impact on business outcomes, but more importantly on the lives of lakhs of students’ careers.
About the role:
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual and content-based aspects of our brand, ensuring that Yocket remains at the forefront of the study abroad industry.
• Develop and execute creative strategies to enhance Yocket's brand image and drive engagement across all digital platforms, including website, social media, email campaigns, and printed marketing materials.
• Collaborate with the marketing, content, and product teams to create visually compelling and engaging content that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our target audience.
• Manage and oversee the work of the creative team, including graphic designers, copywriters, and content creators, ensuring consistent and high-quality output.
• Continuously analyze performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize content and design elements for maximum impact.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, incorporating them into our creative strategies as appropriate.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative creative environment, encouraging the team to explore new ideas and push boundaries.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in design, communications, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a creative leadership role.
• Demonstrated expertise in digital design, content creation, and brand management, preferably within the education or study abroad industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative projects and a deep understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
• Proficient in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other industry-standard design tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, inspire, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Adept at managing multiple projects and priorities, while maintaining a keen eye for detail and delivering within tight deadlines.
• Basic Video editing experience for social media
