Senior Web Developer

OneDot Media is seeking a talented, experienced WordPress Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for web development and a proven track record of creating high-quality WordPress websites.

Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain custom WordPress websites and applications
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to bring projects from conception to launch
• Install and configure WordPress plugins and themes
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Ensure website performance, security and scalability
• Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress development best practices and technologies
• Write documentation for projects, including code documentation, user guides, and project specifications
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

Requirements
• 2-3 years of experience as a WordPress developer
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Experience with custom WordPress theme and plugin development
• Familiarity with WordPress performance optimisation techniques
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
