Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional support to our clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and effective problem resolution. This position requires a strong understanding of various design and development tools, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.

A website maintenance position involves ensuring a website functions correctly, remains secure, and is up to date. This includes tasks like updating content, fixing broken links, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing security measures. The specific responsibilities can vary based on the website's complexity and the needs of the organization.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support and assistance to clients via email, chat, and phone.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software and design tools.

Utilize tools such as Visio, Figma, and Sketch to create visual aids for client presentations and internal documentation.

Assist in the development of responsive web designs using HTML and React.

Conduct user experience (UX) assessments to enhance product usability.

Manage email marketing campaigns, ensuring effective communication with clients.

Maintain detailed records of client interactions and support requests.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in design and technology.

Experience

Content Management:Updating text, images, and other content on the website. Common job titles associated with website maintenance:Webmaster, Website Manager, Website Maintenance Specialist, and Website Administrator. Skills and qualifications

Technical Troubleshooting:Diagnosing and resolving issues with website functionality, such as broken links, slow loading times, or errors.

Security Maintenance:Implementing security measures to protect the website from threats and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Performance Monitoring:Tracking website performance metrics, such as traffic, bounce rate, and conversion rates.

Backups and Updates:Regularly backing up website data and applying software updates to ensure stability and security.

Collaboration:Working with designers, developers, and other team members to ensure the website meets business goals.

Skills and qualifications:

Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Squarespace, or Shopify.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
