About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Web Developer to join our expanding team. As a Web Developer, you will work across both front-end and back-end development, leveraging modern frameworks and third-party tools to build and maintain high-quality software.

Responsibilities

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop software solutions, primarily working with WordPress and WooCommerce. You will ensure software is responsive, efficient, and meets business needs through testing and debugging. Your responsibilities will also include troubleshooting and upgrading existing systems, developing front-end architecture and back-end applications, setting up and managing servers and databases for functionality, designing and developing APIs, and maintaining technical documentation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have strong experience with WordPress & WooCommerce, medium to high-level expertise in Amazon Web Services, and proven experience as a Web Developer across front-end and back-end technologies, including CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP. Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, and SVN is also required. Experience interacting with RESTful APIs and working with data formats like JSON and XML is highly desirable.

Benefits

This is a 6-month contract with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. The daily rate is between $550 – 650, inclusive of superannuation.
