About the Role:
As a Senior Workday Consultant, you will be a key member of our implementation team, responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing the Workday Financial product suite for our clients. You will lead consulting and client teams through the entire life-cycle of Workday Financial implementations, from planning to deployment, ensuring successful delivery of projects. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, at all levels of the organization to understand requirements, identify risks, and provide innovative solutions. Your deep expertise in Workday Financials, ERP systems, and financial business processes will be instrumental in guiding clients towards achieving their financial goals with Workday.
Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Workday Financial product suite and core cross-functional features, such as security and the business process framework.
• Successfully complete and deliver full life-cycle Workday Financial implementations, encompassing GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Projects, Cash Management, and Purchasing modules.
• Possess or obtain Workday FDM/Financial certification, and leverage this expertise to guide clients in their implementation journey.
• Provide solutioning and presales support to clients, showcasing your in-depth knowledge and experience in financial business processes within ERP systems.
• Bring at least 10 years of experience with ERP systems, with a focus on financial business processes, and utilize this experience to design, configure, and implement Workday Financial modules.
• Lead consulting and client teams through Workday implementations, providing guidance, mentoring, and expertise.
• Identify and analyze areas of risk in Workday implementations and develop plans to minimize risks, ensuring successful project delivery.
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, leveraging your expertise in Workday Financials to provide innovative solutions to client challenges.
• Effectively communicate with different stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, at all levels of the organization, building strong relationships and ensuring clear understanding of requirements and deliverables.
Essential Skills:
• Thorough understanding of the Workday Financial product suite and core cross-functional features.
• Successful completion and delivery of full life-cycle Workday Financial implementations.
• Workday FDM/Financial certification preferred.
• Prior experience in solutioning and presales preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience with ERP systems with in-depth knowledge of financial business processes.
