Kirinari are seeking a Senior Workforce Specialist (Employee Relations) to join our Human Resources team - a professional who will work with our team to foster a positive workplace environment through expert management of employee relations, employee well being and a variety of general HR tasks. This is a hands on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and brings operational awareness and insight to people-focused HR solutions.

About the Position:

This position is full-time permanent position located at our Lavington office to commence as soon as practicable.

Our Senior Workforce Specialist (Employee Relations) will enjoy the challenges and development opportunities presented by the exposure they receive to a variety of tasks under the Human Resources banner, allowing them to grow their skill set and progress their career.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a key contact for employee relations matters, including handling grievances, mediating conflicts, and overseeing workplace investigations

Support a balanced outcome for all parties in relation to interpreting HR policies, employment law and workplace practices and expectations

Support the Employee Health and Wellbeing Specialist with employee wellbeing tasks as required

Support general HR functions, which may include recruitment, onboarding and HR administration

Conduct and track employee background checks, employee development opportunities and coaching conversations

Collaborate and create connection with HR, management and operational teams to ensure delivery of business outcomes

Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations records and prepare relevant reports

Respectfully assist employees on their return to work journey

About You:

Proven experience in an employee relations, HR or similar role, or significant transferrable operational experience in a people focused environment

Demonstrated ability to manage performance, mediate disputes and negotiate to achieve business outcomes

Genuine passion for employees wellbeing, engagement, and organisational culture

Highly organised with strong attention to detail and confidentiality

Operations background or direct experience in operational environments is highly advantageous

Demonstrated experience as a decision maker in employee relations matters

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Ability to liaise and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders

Curious, intuitive, resilient and agile

Thrive in a fast-paced environment
