Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
· Lead a team of Senior / Team Lead level staff in IAI&DT (range of 4 to 6 staff) in carrying out implementation of innovative ideas, digital transformation, and automation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic
· Providing support to Head of Audit Innovation and Digitalization in driving Audit Innovation and Digitalization strategy.
· Interacting with Digital Banking Team and Digital Analytics team within the bank, and with their 3rd party Analytics/Technology Partners, to bring in their expertise wherever necessary
· Keeping abreast with the latest in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and ensure that bank’s Audit systems and processes are evolving constantly and keeping pace with the changes in the world.
Tactical
· Interacting with relevant stakeholders during the solution design-phase
· Managing and executing the POC of various tools & technologies for Internal Audit in coordination with vendors and providing suitable recommendations to senior management
· Guiding the Team Leads and monitoring the progress of their projects, as per the defined plan
· Resolving challenges faced by the team in completing their tasks.
· Ensure timely course-correction whenever required, during project lifecycle
· Ensuring that the Team Leads maintain appropriate documentation of the process followed during the implementation of various projects/innovative ideas.

• Skills
· At least a Bachelor of Science / Data Science with Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / Engineering background
· Certifications in areas such as Data Science, AIML, Python, R will be an added advantage
· Keep abreast with the latest developments in IT and Data Science.
· Agility/drive/attitude to keep learning and upskilling in the new areas of Digital Technologies
· Keep abreast with the latest developments and regulations in Banking and Audit
· Be up to date with news and trends in banking related frauds
· Should be able to develop an excellent rapport with Regional Heads and senior stakeholders in the Audit department and other departments in the bank and participate in various Digital committees in the bank.
· Should have excellent presentation skills and be able to articulate / communicate well at senior management level apart from excellent written skills.
· Should be service-oriented and able to interact with various external entities and organizations specialized in digital technologies.
Experience Required
· At least 15 years of working experience in relevant field or related field is required for this position at D3/D4 level.
