Job Description for Senior Consultant – Investment Operations
Experience Required: The candidate will have 4-8 years of experience in middle office operations and reconciliations across different asset classes including derivatives, syndicated loans etc. The candidate would have worked for other asset managers, asset servicers, investment banks in the area of middle office operations and reconciliations
Role
Reconciliation of Accounting and custody data (Equity, Mutual Funds and Fixed Income) using TLM 2.7 and PLM applications
Working on Operator Intervention, account set up, feed set up, security linking, out of proof clearance, Trial balance difference, etc.
Handing reconciliation of Corporate Action events, Proxy Reporting, Redemptions, claims processing, and income processing
Closely working with Confirmation and Settlement Team. Ensuring smooth trade flow from Front Office to Back Office
Gained in-depth expertise on indices and risk management tools that portfolio managers use to make investment decisions and track fund performance
Validation of trade economics and the details of all assets class.( FX, FX Option, Future, forwards, REPO, BOND, NDF,SWAP,IRS, CDS)
Manage analytical requests centred around multi-asset class investment products, asset allocation, and risk exposure by performing rigorous quantitative
Understanding of various agreements, intelligence to understand the trail of operations
