Profile Summary:• The purpose of the Senior Report Developer is to support and improve business processes by delivering IT solutions within Investment management - Client Reporting• The Junior Engineer will ensure coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining components of information applications. Power BI and SQL Server are the primary skills requiredJob Responsibilities:• Understand and analyze Functional, Technical, and Data requirements for the project.• Develop Power BI data models for report creation and dashboard.• Build and modify tables, views, optimize SQL procedures and queries.• Connect Power BI to various environments and ensure data flows smoothly.• Create and execute manual or automated test cases and analyze test results.• Conduct unit/regression/performance testing in the project to validate and verify the project specifications• Monitor and create logs to document testing phases and defects.• Monitor errors in the system and help with bug detection and fixing.• Work closely with fellow developers and project leads in coordinating tasks & deliverables.• Pay attention to details and work independently with minimal supervision.• Understand, apply, promote, and contribute to the delivery methodologies, standards, and tools• Adhere to all organizational and IT policies and processes of software development and project managementRequirements and Qualifications:• 5.5+ years of experience in Power BI• Strong Experience in SQL Server for SQL design and development• Good to have working experience in Azure platform• Experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment• Experience in collaborating with Team Members across locations (Onshore & Offshore) and Vendor teams• Experience with unit tests, user interface test• Excellent verbal & written communication skills with strong interpersonal & influencing skills.• SSIS/SSRS, CORIC, Tidal knowledge is nice-to-have Experience with Visual Studio 2017/201+/2026 and TFS (Team Foundation Server), working knowledge of GIT would be a plusEducation & Certifications:• Engineering Graduate/MCA in Computer Science/Information Science or Equivalent.• Knowledge of Investment Management domain or Financial Services would be a plus.• Agile certifications would be a plus
