Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field; Previous experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role

Proficient use of accounting software such as QuickBooks, expensify, bill.com

Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles

Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process

Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports

Accuracy and attention to detail; Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills

Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload in order to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Be able to demonstrate integrity, maintain confidentiality, and exercise discretion

Good verbal and written communication skills for reporting to management

Ability to work independently and work with team

Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will take charge of managing invoices, credit cards and expense reporting

This role will also review books and records for multiple subsidiaries

Hands on assisting with tax/compliance filings and ad-hoc reporting to internal team and external investors

This person has opportunity to involves in Accounting and Tax operation in multiple jurisdictions, which provides great learning opportunities

Lastly, this role includes certain office administrative work like corporate vendor management, ordering office supplies and managing facility vendors

Ensure proper handling of Accounts Payable (AP) and expense reporting

Resolution of invoice inquiries in a timely manner

In charge of maintaining the General Ledger and creating Journal Entries

Perform Bank Reconciliations regularly

Ensure accuracy during Month End Close procedures

Active monitoring and management of books and records

Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets, Report analysis and findings to management team

Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports; support audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements

Assist with compliance work and be able to identify issues and resolve and improve financial efficiency and work flow
