Senoir fashion designer/ Manager
Studio Lukshry is searching for a creative and motivated Fashion Designer who can also take on the role of Studio Manager, with 4 - 7 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in pattern making, sketching, and design techniques , along with a passion for staying abreast of the latest trends in the fashion industry.
Responsibilities:
Design Development:
• Collaborate with the design team to Brainstorm , ideate and sketch new concepts.
• Researching and creating mood boards
• Develop detailed sketches and illustrations that effectively showcase design concepts.
Pattern Making:
• Utilize pattern making skills to translate design concepts into accurate and production-friendly patterns.
• Ensure patterns align with design specifications and meet our quality standards.
Material and Trim Selection:
• Work closely with the team to source appropriate fabrics, trims, and accessories for each design.
• Stay informed about the latest materials and trends in the fashion industry.
• Developing surfaces through hand and machine embroidery.
Sample Development :
• Oversee the creation of samples and make necessary adjustments.
• Coordinate with production team to ensure samples meet our quality standards.
• Create Toiles and draping styles
• Preparing costing and tech packs for samples.
• Collaborate with the production team to develop colorways, prints, and execute production samples.
Studio Manager Responsibilities:
• Supervise the daily operations of the studio and production unit.
• Assign tasks and manage the team to ensure timely completion of orders.
• Maintain studio accounts and expenses systematically.
• Monitor production progress and quality control at every stage.
• Handle market sourcing and purchases when required.
• Maintain and update production and order status sheets on Excel
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• 4 - 7 years of experience in fashion design and production , with a focus on pattern making and sketching.
• Proficiency in design software.
• Strong understanding of textiles, garment construction, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for maintaining production records, costings, and tracking workflows.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
