BAE Systems is seeking a motivated, self-driven, Systems Engineer for an exciting opportunity to support the Air Force's acquisition of the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) and other evolving business pursuits. This Systems Engineering position is a unique opportunity to develop Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) architecture models for existing and new acquisitions efforts.
This new ICBM program will design, develop, produce, and deploy new payload system suites (reentry vehicles and/or countermeasures). The key payload attributes include enhancements in accuracy, lethality, and ICBM Reentry System/Reentry Vehicle (RS/RV) interoperable operations. Program activities will also include the employment of digital acquisitions through the application of digital engineering, agile software development, and open systems architectures.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics. 7 years directly related experience (5 years with MS degree). At least 2 years progressive responsibility in providing technical leadership in design, integration, or analytical efforts.
Secret Clearance.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
The ideal candidate will have most of the following experience:
• Experience as an MBSE engineer and fluent with CAMEO and DOORS.
• Experience as an engineer working missile systems or complex military weapon systems (especially ACAT I program or ICBM-related experience).
• Current Top Secret Clearance.
• Knowledge or previous experience with Air Force Operations and acquisition programs.
• Previous experience with military weapon systems.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $106654 - $181311
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
