This is a full-time remote position for an SEO Content Writer. The SEO Content Writer will be responsible for crafting and editing web content, conducting research, and proofreading.
The role demands ensuring that website content is optimized for search engines and aligns with the latest SEO best practices.
The ideal candidate will be creative, detail-oriented, and skilled in producing high-quality content that drives organic traffic and engagement.
Responsibilities
• Write and edit web content, including blog posts, articles, product descriptions, and landing pages.
• Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
• Proofread and edit content for grammar, style, and SEO optimization.
• Optimize content for search engines using the latest on-page SEO best practices.
• Develop and implement content strategies to improve search rankings and drive organic traffic.
• Use tools like SurferSEO, Hemingway, Quetext, etc to enhance content quality and SEO performance.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create content that aligns with overall marketing strategies.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and on page practices.
• Meet daily content delivery targets
Qualifications
• Proven experience as an SEO Content Writer or similar role.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in conducting research and fact-checking using reliable sources.
• In-depth knowledge of on-page SEO best practices and techniques.
• Familiarity with content optimization tools like SurferSEO and AI tools like ChatGPT.
• Strong understanding of using the Google search engine for research purposes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
• Experience in the healthcare, finance, or travel industry is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is a plus.
• Strong work management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
Skills and Tools
• Expertise in writing blog posts and website content.
• Proficiency with Google Docs for content creation and collaboration.
• Experience with SurferSEO for content optimization.
• Ability to create and utilize prompts effectively in ChatGPT for enhanced content creation.
• Familiarity with other AI tools for content development is a plus.
Daily tasks
• Delivering minimum 3 high-quality content pieces per day.
• Conducting research and fact-checking for content accuracy.
• Optimizing content for SEO using best practices and tools.
• Collaborating with the marketing team to align content with marketing goals.
Working Hours - 11AM to 6PM IST
Expected Annual Package - $4500 - $6000
