Over 5 million investors use our apps and products every month. In the last five years, we have orchestrated a fast-growing ecosystem of 300+ large, fast-growing and ambitious brands in the capital markets ecosystem by building a unique technology platform & API layer. The company has created products & businesses across the investment ecosystem solving for distribution (Gateway, transactional platform), advisory (publisher), subsidiary which holds a research license (Windmill Capital) & DIY tool (Tickertape).
We are a young, innovative team of 300 headquartered in Bangalore, yet operate in a remote-first way. Smallcase is backed by world-class investors including funds like Sequoia Capital, Blume Ventures, Faering Capital, Premji Invest, institutions like Amazon, HDFC Bank, and notable individuals including Nithin Kamath (Zerodha), Kunal Shah (CRED), Tanmay Bhat.
If you join us, you’ll be talking directly to all our users - existing or potential! The Content and Communications team in the B2C Marketing team designs all the stories and narratives for the smallcase brand. This role will focus on the SEO aspect of storytelling.

• Love consuming content - any form, shape or manner
• Have a never-say-never attitude, no matter how challenging things get
However, you should, also -
• Have a bachelor’s degree in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
• Proven work experience as a Content Writer or similar role for 0-2 year
• Create high-quality, error-free, original long-form SEO content that is relevant to the smallcase brand
• Write blog posts that educate readers about smallcase products & services
• Edit content written by peers or external agencies to ensure they are error-free and aligned with our brand voice
• Be able to implement fundamental SEO strategies into blog posts
• Be up to maintain and actively manage blog posts as needed
• Know the basics of WordPress or other related tools
• Have exceptional grammar, research, fact-checking, writing, and editing skills
