amber is a platform through which students all across the world can book accommodations near their universities without the hassle of negotiation, non-standardized & cumbersome paperwork, lack of credit score, and broken payment process. We currently provide accommodation to students in the US, UK, and Australia. We are also planning to expand our business to other countries as well. It is a startup started by ex-housing.com executives and has been running profitably for the last 3 years.
Working on a long-term accommodation booking platform for students (think booking.com for student housing), Amber helps 80M students worldwide in finding and booking full-time accommodations near their universities, without the hassle of negotiation, non-standardized and cumbersome paperwork, and broken payment process. We are the leading student housing platform globally, with 1M student housing units listed in 6 countries and across 80 cities.
Key responsibilities:
1. Editing/improving the written content for each property in the assigned territory
2. Standardising the inventory pages written content
3. Monitoring the latest SEO trends, best practices, and techniques to ensure that our SEO effects are the best in the industry for listing improvement
4. Creating content that informs and sells
5. Ideating & strategizing the content plan
Who can apply
1. Good communication (written and oral) and relationship management skills.
2. Fair working knowledge of SEO
3. Has a writing portfolio
4. Must have used Google Analytics, keyword planner, SEO Quake
5. Has experience in managing a team of writers
6. Enthusiastic to work and brings creativity to the table
7. Good time-management skills
8. Quick learner & strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate/collaborate with clients, colleagues, and management
+. Experience in international client management experience will be an advantage
10. Capability to work as a team, meet deadlines & take ownership of the KRAs
