Role Summary
As the SEO Executive (Crypto Market Specialist), you'll develop and execute SEO strategies tailored to crypto products and platforms. Your role will blend deep technical SEO skills with content strategy, keyword research, and link-building — all optimized for the unique challenges of the crypto ecosystem. Cross-functional collaboration with product, content, UX, and engineering will be key to ensuring SEO success.
Key Responsibilities (inspired by common crypto and general SEO requirements)
• Design and implement data-driven SEO strategies aligned with crypto industry trends to improve rankings, awareness, and organic traffic
• Perform thorough keyword research focused on crypto, blockchain, DeFi, and related terms with high-intent user queries
• Optimize on-page elements: meta tags, headings, URLs, alt text, internal linking, and schema markup tailored for crypto content
• Conduct technical SEO audits and fixes: crawlability, indexing, speed, mobile UX, Core Web Vitals, JavaScript rendering issues
• Develop and manage link-building campaigns, including outreach, partnerships, guest posting in crypto industry publications
• Collaborate with content and editorial teams to build SEO-optimized articles, landing pages, blog posts, and crypto guides
• Monitor SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and create reporting dashboards; deliver insights and strategic recommendations
• Perform competitive analysis of other crypto platforms to identify content gaps and SEO opportunities
• Stay up‑to‑date with search algorithm updates, crypto SEO best practices, regulatory environment, and content guidelines; iterate strategies proactively
Qualifications & Skills
• ~4 years of hands-on SEO experience, including direct involvement in crypto, Web3, or blockchain-related projects
• Proven record optimizing websites for crypto-related keywords, content formats (news, guides, tools), and verticals
• Expertise with SEO tools: Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
• Strong technical SEO understanding: site structure, mobile-first optimization, Core Web Vitals, structured data, JavaScript impact on indexing
• Basic familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as it relates to SEO execution and collaboration
• Strong analytical skills: able to translate SEO data into actionable growth strategies and report clearly to stakeholders
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills—capable of working with content creators, marketing teams, and developers to implement SEO best practices
Education & Certification
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Certification in SEO, Google Analytics, or digital marketing (e.g. HubSpot, SEMrush Academy) is a plus
