Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated SEO Intern to support our marketing and content team. This internship is designed for students who are currently enrolled in a Marketing, Communications, Business, or Digital Media program, and looking to gain practical experience in the field as part of their course requirements.
This is a volunteer based internship, ideal for students completing a field placement, co-op, or practicum component of their program. A flexible schedule will be provided to accommodate academic commitments.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for improving website visibility.
Optimize website pages, articles, and social media content for SEO best practices.
Assist in backlink building, content strategy, and online engagement initiatives.
Monitor website analytics, keyword rankings, and performance metrics.
Stay up to date with SEO trends and search engine algorithm updates.
Collaborate with the marketing team on digital campaigns and content planning.
Qualifications
Enrolled in a post-secondary program related to Marketing, Communications, Business, or Digital Media.
Strong written communication and analytical thinking skills.
Basic understanding of SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, or SEMrush).
Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn about digital marketing.
