Job Description
This is a remote position.
• Assisting the SEO team in executing on-page and off-page strategies like acquiring brand mentions, reaching out to publishers, and optimizing on-page stuff.
• Conducting outreach for off-page SEO campaigns that drive awareness, increase authority and indicate relevance to the search engines.
• Curiosity, problem-solving, and the willingness to learn new tasks as they arise.
• Well-versed with either Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to apply pivot tables, filters, and vlookup.
• Assist the SEO team with daily, and weekly analysis for various sports in the following ways: sourcing data, cleaning data, and top-level data analysis. Tools: MS Excel, G-Sheets
• Takes ownership and is responsible for the tasks, or duties provided.
• Competitive Research for multiple sports sections.
You won’t be expected to know it all, but you would be expected to give your best in whatever has been asked of you.
Requirements
• Basic knowledge of how websites work, and HTML.
• Knowledge of US Sports like NBA, NFL, baseball, etc will be a bonus
• Negotiation skills
• Excellent communication skills with a stronghold in written and spoken English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
Good To Have:
• Experience with search engine optimization/ digital marketing to improve website performance or visibility.
• Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Google Analytics
Requirements
referred Education Qualification: B.Tech/BCA/BE and equivalent. Required Experience & Qualification: 2 to 3 years. Skills: Effective communication skills including a solid understanding of English grammar and professional writing ability. Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office / Google Doc, sheet (particularly Microsoft Word, Google sheet and Doc). Good understanding of SEO and content management systems. Ability to work with large data sets. An ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere. Outstanding ability to think creatively, and identify and resolve problems. Self-motivated and enjoys working in a fast-paced and results-driven Strong analytical skills and ability to understand, report and act on data. Innovative, inquisitive and effective problem solver. Communication to team on project development, timelines, and results Provide SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and web pages Report to SEO Team Leads with successes, progress and project completion. Basic Knowledge of HTML. Ability to work on CMS to publish the content on the pages and fix the basic on page issues like Title, Description, Heading ( H1 to H6) , anchor text etc. The person should know how to do text formatting, table formatting and implementation of superscripts and subscript in Google doc as well as in Microsoft word.
