PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:
Writing specialist focused on driving search engine traffic and rank to our website.
Requires a deep understanding of near ranking factors and best practices in text
MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Update headlines to a prescribed SEO formulaOptimize/organize copy in the most efficient way to help promote Google search scoresResearch and implement best SEO practices on web itemsCreate and maintain/refresh best practices guide for SEOKeeps up to date on new developments and algorithms and trendsKey word placement for blogs, web pages, articles and press releasesGoogle expertiseKnowledge of social media and how it helps search rankKeeps supervisor informed of important developments, potential problems, and related information necessary for effective management.
Coordinates and communicates plans and activities with others, as appropriate, to ensure a coordinated work effort and team approach.
Performs related work as apparent or assigned.
