Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
Take accurate food and beverage orders while providing recommendations and upselling menu items.
Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
Process cash handling transactions accurately, including handling payments and providing change as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and adherence to food safety standards.
Assist with any additional tasks as needed to support team members and enhance overall guest services.
Requirements
5 years of experience in upper casual to fine dining service
Wine service skills as a requirement (WSET 2 or Higher level of education as an asset)
Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members.
Capability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.40 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
