Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for customer service and a strong ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and management. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience by providing attentive service, accurate order taking, and timely delivery of food and beverages.
Duties
Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
Ensure timely delivery of orders to guests while maintaining quality standards.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and address any guest concerns promptly.
Assist in restocking supplies as needed throughout the shift.
Qualifications
Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
Familiarity with cashiering duties and cash handling procedures.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within a kitchen setting.
Experience with POS systems is a plus but can be learned on the job.
A proactive approach to upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
