Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest services.
As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that every guest leaves satisfied. Your ability to upsell menu items and provide knowledgeable recommendations will enhance the overall dining experience.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
Upsell additional items to enhance the guest experience.
Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining proper sanitation standards.
Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any issues that may arise.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils after each use.
Process payments accurately and handle cash transactions responsibly.
Experience
Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
A team-oriented attitude with the ability to work collaboratively with others in a kitchen or dining setting.
