The Server position at Eurest, located at Delta LAX D1 - Dept 127 in Los Angeles, CA, is a full-time role designed for candidates with experience in fine dining or other upscale hospitality settings such as hotels, resorts, or high-end restaurants. This role demands open availability, including weekends, to serve the diverse and dynamic needs of its clientele. The position offers a competitive fixed pay rate of $30.15 per hour with weekly pay, emphasizing prompt and efficient service. Candidates will be integral in delivering premium food and beverage experiences to guests, thus playing a key role in maintaining Eurest's reputation for excellence.
As a Server, the incumbent is responsible for greeting guests warmly and taking orders promptly while adhering to established service procedures. The role requires delivering food and beverages efficiently and maintaining stringent safe food handling and sanitation standards. Servers must demonstrate extensive knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, specialized diets, and allergens, to provide informed recommendations and accommodate guest preferences effectively. Communication is critical, as Servers liaise directly with kitchen and back-of-house staff to ensure order accuracy and meet guests’ special requests.
In addition to exceptional communication skills, the role demands patience, flexibility, and professionalism when interacting with both guests and colleagues. Servers handle cash transactions in accordance with prescribed cash-handling procedures, maintain the cleanliness and order of service areas, and assist in setting up and breaking down the dining environment. They also support special events and collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations. The position involves operating various types of restaurant equipment and implementing health and safety protocols to provide a safe environment for guests.
