Requirement for a Server Engineer Level 2 support.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the design, build and support of a global infrastructure. Linux skills is advantage.
Strong working knowledge of the following: these are in order from most to least important.
1) Hyper-converged infrastructure platforms (Nutanix, Dell)
2) Hyper V and/or VMware
3) VDI (Horizon)
4) Windows server OS
5) Veeam backup and replication
6) Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and Active Directory Federation Services
DNS, DHCP
7) Microsoft Clustering
8) SCOM, SCCM
+) Certificate management
10) Proxy, Reverse Proxy, Load balancers
11) Microsoft Direct Access
Good working knowledge of the following:
1) Skype/Teams
2) networking e.g., routing, switching, firewall security
3) Identity Access Management (IAM)
4) Multi-function Authentication (MFA)
5) System hardening guidelines e.g., CIS, NIST
