Job Summary:
SOBAR is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our team at a modern Japanese restaurant specializing in handcrafted Ju-Wari Soba (100% buckwheat noodles). We’re looking for someone with a passion for Japanese cuisine and hospitality, who can deliver a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism
• Take accurate food and drink orders, providing menu guidance and recommendations
• Serve dishes in a timely and polished manner, aligning with our Japanese dining concept
• Maintain cleanliness of tables and dining area; reset for new guests
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and correct delivery of orders
• Process customer payments accurately
• Uphold all food safety and restaurant service standards
Qualifications:
• 1+ year of restaurant service experience (Japanese restaurant experience preferred)
• Interest in or knowledge of Japanese cuisine and culture
• Friendly, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm during busy periods
• Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
• Knowledge of ******* (Sake, Wine) is p.us
Details:
• Job Types: Part-time or Full-time
• Pay: $17.28 - $23.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Expected Hours: 8 ~ hours per week ( We need people who can work on Sat and Sun)
• Shifts Available: Day shift / Night shift (restaurant hours: 12:00–2:30pm, 5:30–9:00pm or 10:00pm)
• Location: 12404 Washington Blvd, Culver City, CA 90066
