At Oak Island Resort & Conference Centre, we have an immediate opening for a Server! If you are a passionate individual with a flare for customer service and providing unique guest services, we want you!
What You Will Do:
Let your personality shine through by providing outstanding customer service in all interactions with our guests
Build and maintain inclusive and professional relationships with co-workers that promotes and strengthen a climate of cooperation and respect
Be observant to our guests needs throughout their dining experience to ensure they receive high quality service
Develop a strong knowledge of menu offerings to encourage your ability to make first-class recommendations
Coordinate food & beverage orders to guarantee efficient guest service, and deliver orders from the kitchen to guest tables
Maintain our high food safety and sanitation standards
Answer phone calls, assist guests with inquiries, and take reservations
Contribute to teamwork, friendliness, and courtesy among team members
What We Offer You:
Wage: $16/hr plus gratuity

What You Need to Succeed:
1+ years experience in a similar environment. Food and Beverage Server designation an asset
Experience with POS systems
Strong wine and food knowledge an asset
Able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs
Able to walk or stand for nearly 100% of each shift
Enthusiasm, energy and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure a top-notch guest experience
