Position Title: Server & Pizza Maker

Position Overview:
We are looking for a versatile and dedicated individual to join our team in a blended role as both Server and Pizza Maker. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to provide excellent customer service while contributing to the kitchen's success. This role involves interacting with guests and ensuring an outstanding dining experience, while also participating in the preparation of our signature pizzas.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
Present menus, describe menu items, and highlight sustainable practices and unique ingredients.
Take accurate food and beverage orders, accommodating special requests and dietary restrictions.
Deliver food promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the meal.
Pizza Making:
Assist in the preparation and cooking of pizzas, focusing on quality and consistency.
Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings, ensuring fresh and efficient production.
Operate kitchen equipment such as pizza ovens, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Monitor the pizza-making process to ensure timely and accurate orders.
Order Management:
Enter orders into the POS system accurately and efficiently.
Coordinate with both front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
Keep an eye on tables, anticipate guests' needs, and provide prompt service, such as refilling drinks or clearing plates.
Sales and Promotions:
Upsell menu items and specials, enhancing the guest experience.
Promote the restaurant’s sustainable initiatives and signature dishes.
Inform guests about upcoming events, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Cleanliness and Organization:
Maintain cleanliness in both the dining area and the kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards.
Assist with the setup, reset, and closing duties for both the front and back of house as required.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with fellow servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions, staying informed on menu changes and restaurant policies.
Support other team members during busy shifts, flexibly transitioning between roles as needed.
