Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
Duties
• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
• Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and pairing suggestions to enhance the guest experience.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
• Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns or requests in a timely manner.
• Process payments accurately using cash handling procedures and basic math skills.
• Assist with bussing tables, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and supporting host/host duties as needed.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial.
• Understanding of sanitation practices and food safety regulations is essential.
