Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in a fine dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive service, knowledge of the menu, and adherence to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or OpenTable systems, ensuring all requests are noted.
Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a high standard of presentation.
Assist with food preparation and ensure proper food handling practices are followed.
Buss tables promptly to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
Handle cash register transactions accurately, processing payments and providing change as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns.
Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper hygiene practices throughout service.
Requirements
Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting is preferred.
Strong basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs.
Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is essential.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help colleagues when needed.
