Outback Steakhouse is looking for an experienced Server/Waiter/Waitress to join our team. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service to our guests, and we are looking for an individual who shares that same commitment. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent customer service and hospitality skills, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. If you are an enthusiastic and experienced Server/Waiter/Waitress who is eager to join a fun and fast-paced restaurant, please apply today!Qualifications:• Previous server experience is required, preferably in a high-volume restaurant setting• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills• Must be able to work well independently and in a team environment• Must be able to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours at a time• Must be able to obtain local food safety certification • Must be eligible to work in the United States
Responsibilities:
• Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner
• Take orders from customers and provide accurate pricing information
• Serve food and drinks to customers in a timely fashion
• Upsell items and suggestively sell menu items
• Ensure accuracy of orders and payments
• Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times
• Follow all health and safety regulations in the restaurant
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
• Assist with restocking items and cleaning the restaurant as needed
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local and state laws
• Handle all customer transactions in an efficient and friendly manner
• Follow all cash handling procedures as outlined by the restaurant
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and prices
