Job Overview
We are seeking reliable and dedicated Bus Drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while ensuring a high level of customer service. This role requires excellent communication skills in English, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle.
Duties
Safely operate the bus according to scheduled routes and timetables.
Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during transit.
Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information on routes and schedules.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bus interior.
Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly.
Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, especially those with disabilities or special needs.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
Keep accurate records of trips, including passenger counts and any incidents that occur during transit.
Qualifications
Valid PSV licence (Catagory D) with minimum number of points.
Valid CPC card.
Previous experience driving local service buses.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to maintain a calm demeanour under pressure and handle difficult situations effectively.
