About the team

The Bank’s Margin Lending and Wealth Management Business, partners with Australian and Global Financial Firms providing high quality products and service solutions to partners and customers. Being a leader in the margin lending industry we are constantly improving our product offering, service quality and risk management processes.

About the role

As a Service Consultant reporting to the Team Manager, you are a frontline representative for our Margin Lending and Wealth Management. Your key focus is to provide accurate and efficient services for our partners and customers, that exceed expectations and achieve high retention for the business.

Your responsibilities will include;

Responding to customer and partner queries through various service channels

Educating partners and customers on our products

Assisting customers and partners with managing risk on their margin loan facilities

Processing day to day transactions, corporate actions and margining events

Onboarding of new accounts and activation of accounts

You will be based in Sydney with a requirement for a minimum 3-day per week office attendance

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

Tertiary qualification in Finance or Business discipline ideal but not mandatory

RG 146 compliant or willingness to complete

Experience in Financial services with knowledge and or interest in margin lending, financial markets and trading, funds management or financial planning.

Demonstrated customer service experience ideally within financial services

Microsoft Office skills including Excel

Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Strong use of initiative with excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities

High attention to detail with the ability to identify and remediate issues
