About The Role
NOTE: This role is suitable only for candidates who are fully registered and hold management level experience.
An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced and passionate Service Manager to lead a community-based Mental Health and Addictions service based in Ellerslie, Central Auckland. This innovative service supports young people under the age of 24 years, delivering holistic care tailored to the unique needs of tangata whaiora.
This services, dual peer support and clinician model embraces a whanau-focused approach. The role offers the chance to lead a skilled and committed team, delivering care in ways that best meet people where they feel comfortable, whether in their local parks or even in their homes.

Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical guidance, supervision, and coaching to clinicians and peer support specialists
Ensure the service operates effectively and aligns with organisational and national standards
Deliver evidence-based Mental Health, AOD assessments and interventions while offering consultation to stakeholders
Foster partnerships with community mental health teams, GPs, and other organisations to ensure integrated care
Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and outcomes for tangata whaiora and whanau
Skills & Experience
Current and full registration with a governing body under the HPCA Act (2003) or Social Worker Registration Act (2003) (non-negotiable)
At least two years' experience in direct line management and within the mental health and addiction sector (non-negotiable)
Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
A commitment to culturally responsive, mana-enhancing care
A full, clean New Zealand driver's license
