The role:
We are seeking a highly skilled technical leader to join our Mosgiel Dealership as Service Manager. In this role, you will oversee the operational and financial performance of the service department, driving efficiency, quality, safety, and most importantly customer satisfaction.
You will ensure the smooth flow of work through the workshop while focusing on improving systems, processes, and building the technical capability and performance of your team. Additionally, you will play a role in managing budgets, tracking performance metrics and identifying growth opportunities.
To be successful, you will have:
Proven experience in a similar role in the agricultural, construction or heavy equipment industry.
In depth knowledge of service department operations and processes.
Heavy or light auto trade qualification with strong diagnostic and fault finding skills.
Dedication to delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Sound leadership abilities to create a supportive and motivating work environment.
Demonstrated experience championing health and safety systems, regulations, and procedures.
Strong computer skills, experience in managing budgets and service profitability will be an advantage.
