$118,70+.6+ to $134,066.50 Annually + up to 12% super

Leadership:

Provide expert leadership and manage a team of advisers in Employee and Industrial Relations, fostering development and collaboration within the Unit and across the wider People and Culture (P&C) team. among them.
Provide excellent internal and external stakeholder management, including problem solving and dealing with issues of a sensitive and confidential nature.


Industrial and Employee Relations:

Provide highly developed technical and professional advice relating to employee and industrial relations and workplace governance to deliver people solutions, including specialised knowledge and interpretation of relevant state and federal legislation.
Be the key point of reference for union liaison and relationship management with Council’s key industrial stakeholders, including managing Council's Enterprise Bargaining negotiations and ensuring implementation and consistent interpretation of terms.
Experience in industrial relations advocacy, including representation in Commission appearances, and serve as the lead expert on Award and legislative compliance.


People and Culture Projects and Initiatives:

Be the lead on complex legislative compliance and strategic projects and initiatives. Develop business cases, project plans, and recommendations within budget, and represent P&C on project teams as needed.

Eligibility:

Tertiary bachelor qualification in Law, Business (or similar) with a focus on IR/ER/Governance or related field with extensive experience in a senior technical role.
C Class Drivers Licence.
