We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Project Manager.

We also run and manage our IT infrastructure, data centres and core banking systems that power the world's leading international bank.
Our multi-disciplined teams include: DevOps engineers, IT architects, front and back end developers, infrastructure specialists, cyber experts, as well as project and programme managers.
Following extensive investment across our Technology and Digital domains and with plans for continued expansion throughout 2026 and beyond, we are currently seeking a Service Manager GCB5 Specialist to join HSBC Technology.
What you will be doing;
The Service Manager GCB5 sits in WPB Operations Incident Management with in WPB Office of the Service Manager GCB5 job role holder will work with the product owner to create, develop and deliver a suite of Service Management and Service Operations metrics and measures to drive maturity across HSBC Technology as well as driving adoption of SRE Practice and Culture with HSBC. The processes utilise industry leading techniques for identifying, measuring and evolving Service Operations Capability and Maturity.
In this role, you will:
• Offer their Service Management knowledge and experience to provide consultancy to a range of stakeholders, both within the team and across the wider HSBC technology environment.
• Application of Service Management knowledge and experience to ensure the data and metrics meets defined quality levels and embeds the drives the desired level of maturity within the target audience.
• Working collaboratively within the Global WPB Operations Incident Management team to define, implement & operate a global standard Service Operations and SRE model
• Ensure the Service Operations and SRE culture is defined and promoted within the Value Streams and across HSBC Technology Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements :
• A broad understanding and comprehensive appreciation across Service Management and Service Operations processes and principles.
• Executive level communication and Stakeholder Management.
• Experience of Data Analysis, particularly in the Service Management domain.
• Experience with Service Now, in particular data reporting functions.
• A sound understanding and working knowledge of HSBC processes service operations process and practice
• DevOps principles for efficient delivery
• Mentoring and supporting colleagues
• Reporting on a wide range of Service Operations Metrics
• ITIL Foundation - Master
This role will primarily be Pune based but some travel may be required .
