Key Deliverables
Lead and deliver requirements, scoping and design workshops, ensuring requirements are well documented
Provide expert level support and technical mentoring to implementation team
Maintain deep, comprehensive knowledge of ServiceNow’s capabilities and constraints.
Recognize and develop opportunities to leverage ServiceNow as a platform.
As a senior technical member of the team, deliver hands-on configuration, development and integration services and serve in a delivery assurance capacity for all project deliverables
Plan and coordinate all phases of testing and test acceptance; design and oversee development of testing related work products; lead test remediation cycles
Create and deliver tailored presentations and product demonstrations
Scoping and delivering Proof of Concept / Proof of Value engagements with prospects
Responding to Request for Information/Proposal documents
In conjunction with Sales Personnel and Professional Services, conduct transition briefing – communicate commitments, expectations, etc in preparation for deployment
Act as the ServiceNow subject matter expert at Executive briefings/marketing events
Work closely with our business partners and technical SMEs, providing oversight and recommendations on how best to accomplish new requirements
Be accountable for enforcing best practices, ensuring smooth ServiceNow upgradeability
Be responsible for the implementation, ongoing enhancements, and support of all integrations with ServiceNow
Ensure best practices are enforced and that advanced configurations don’t endanger future upgrades and system performance
Lead/contribute to the evaluation/execution of ServiceNow upgrades, reviewing impact on integrations and making changes as needed
Adhere to IT Change Management and best practices
Qualifications, skills and experience:
5+ years’ experience in technical solution design and implementation of the ServiceNow application.
Proven management / influencing abilities.
Ability to produce documentation at various levels including technical and customer facing.
Knowledge of IT and Enterprise Service Management is critical.
Expertise and experience with ServiceNow or an equivalent ITSM toolset are essential.
ServiceNow experience in the areas of ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, or HR products are highly desirable.
ServiceNow Certifications in all areas are highly desirable.
Experience in multiple application architectures and supporting technologies.
Web service proficiency (REST, SOAP) as well as XML and JSON knowledge.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
