Overview:
We are seeking a skilled service Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in plumbing systems . If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for service plumbing in commercial buildings, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
• Ability to show up to work on time everyday.
• Meet the physical demands of the job for lifting, standing, kneeling, etc.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial settings
• Knowledge of current Plumbing Code
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply and waste and drainage systems
• Collaborate with contractors and construction workers on plumbing projects
• Install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
• Adhere to safety standards and building codes while performing plumbing tasks
• Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines
• Assemble and install valves and fittings.
• Install sinks, tubs and toilets
• Underground rough-in etc
• Service MUA/RTU and boilers
Qualifications:
• Journeyperson Plumber license
• Driver's License
• Criminal background check and driver abstract required.
• Confined space, whims, Fall Arrest, Scissor Lift tickets would be an asset.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the plumbing industry
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of plumbing systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Backflow Certification would be an asset.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
