Service/Repair Operations Supervisor
Are you an experienced field service professional ready to take the next step into leadership? We’re looking for a Service/Repair Operations Supervisor to help oversee daily field operations, support our service and repair teams, and ensure exceptional customer experiences.
In this role, you’ll work closely with mechanics, dispatch, sales, and management to keep operations running efficiently, safely, and profitably. If you have strong leadership skills, mechanical service experience, and a passion for delivering great service, we want to meet you.
What You’ll Do
As the Service/Repair Operations Supervisor, you will:
Lead Daily Field Operations
Oversee daily maintenance, repair, testing, routing, and job scheduling for service and repair work.
Ensure mechanics have the tools, resources, and support needed for successful job completion.
Conduct jobsite visits, quality reviews, and safety audits.
Maintain van appearance, technician presentation, and jobsite standards.
Support Financial and Operational Performance
Review and approve daily time tickets, coding accuracy, and billing classifications.
Monitor overtime usage and report trends or concerns.
Assist with parts ordering, purchase requests, and customer A/R follow-up.
Contribute to weekly and monthly reporting (callback trends, VIP classifications, repair accuracy, etc.).
Supervise and Develop Technicians
Assign work, coach mechanics, and track daily check-ins and check-outs.
Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training new field personnel.
Monitor GPS reports and enforce safety and company policies.
Document safety violations and assist in incident investigations.
Engage With Customers and Internal Teams
Communicate with customers regarding job updates, scheduling, and concerns.
Support sales by identifying repair opportunities and validating mechanic recommendations.
Coordinate closely with dispatch, sales, payroll, and accounts receivable teams.
Drive Continuous Improvement
Support initiatives that reduce callbacks, optimize routes, control costs, and improve service delivery.
Monitor KPIs such as unauthorized hours, OT usage, callback rates, and technician productivity.
Provide feedback for process improvements and operational efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of elevator industry experience; at least 2 years in a service management or supervisory role.
Strong technical knowledge of elevator systems, including traction and hydraulic equipment.
Proven leadership skills in managing field crews, scheduling, and service delivery.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
