Service Technician (Mechanic/Heavy Diesel Fitter) – Kenwick, WA

The role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated service technician to join our busy Kenwick Workshop. We are open to considering Mechanics/Fitters from all industries who are ready to contribute to our dynamic team.
As a service technician, your primary responsibilities will include performing pre-delivery (equipment preparations) inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on a range of mining equipment and subcomponents. You will report to the Workshop Supervisor and work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Key tasks include:
Delivery of brand-new machinery to customers across Australia.
Complete machine rebuilds.
Component rebuilds.
Supporting the latest technologies, such as autonomous machinery, battery-electric systems, and remote monitoring equipment.
Your profile
Relevant Trade Qualification
Previous experience working on a variety of mining equipment (Sandvik equipment would be an advantage)
Excellent communication skills
Good attitude with a strong work ethic and focus on safety
