Job Description
A fully qualified Boiler/Burner Service Technician will be responsible for performing start-up services, troubleshooting and repair activities on natural gas and light oil-fired industrial boilers at customer sites, located in the Ottawa, Ontario Region.
This is an exciting opportunity for a G1 Technician to become an important member of our growing company which offers a company truck, cellphone, training, uniforms, benefits and competitive wages.
Starting at $40.00 to $50.00 per hour based on experience
In this role, you will be responsible for creating a positive relationship with customers as you professionally maintain, troubleshoot, repair and install commercial and industrial equipment for our customers.

Maintain, service & repair commercial, industrial process burners and boilers
Contribute to business growth be offering the customer best advice.
Adhere to all safety rules and procedures.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations.
Perform other duties as required by supervisor or designate
Skills, Abilities and Experience:
Must meet Company requirements with respect to general qualifications.
Must have a Gas Fitter 1 license.
OBT1 would be an asset.
Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
Must have at least a Class G Driver’s License.
2 - 5 yrs of field experience in service of commercial and industrial combustion equipment.
Must be available to be on call for 1 week every 6 weeks.
Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position, i.e. occasional lifting up to shoulder height, frequent bending, occasional squatting/kneeling, working inside and outside in all types of weather.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both in written and verbal communications.
Bilingual would be an asset.
Must have strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
Must be able to demonstrate ability to understand/learn new technologies (i.e. Electronics/ electricity).
Very punctual and dependable.
Must be willing to wear Company provided uniform.
Must have own tools.
