We are currently recruiting for a Service Technician / Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Winnipeg, MB . If you are looking for a dynamic organization, this is the opportunity for you.
The selected individual will be responsible for traveling to customer locations throughout Manitoba and Northern Ontario, to provide maintenance and repair services for petroleum dispensing equipment and related equipment. Strong knowledge of repairing and troubleshooting petroleum equipment, having electrical knowledge and expertise. TSSA and/or CPCA certified would be an asset but not required.
Role Responsibilities
Travel to customer locations throughout Manitoba and Northern Ontario to perform maintenance and repair services on petroleum dispensing equipment, car wash systems, and related machinery. Comprehensive training will be provided.
Install, test, and commission petroleum equipment and EV charging stations as per regulatory requirements and manufacturer’s instructions and procedures
Assess, diagnose, consult, source parts, and manage inventory effectively.
Work with sub-contractors to complete project tasks for additional disciplines as required (electrical, excavation, concrete, civil)
Work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with other trades and customers.
Lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) using proper lifting techniques.
Ensure that the company health and safety policies and procedures are followed
Commit to learning and completing all required safety training and apply to daily duties.
Qualifications
Red Seal or Journeyman as Construction Electrician
Understanding of various EV charging standards and protocols, such as Level 1, Level 2, and DC Fast Charging (Level 3) would be considered an asset
High energy, self-motivated and must have a positive attitude
Must be able to work independently with little supervision
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Strong Customer Service Experience
Must be mechanically inclined
Must be a team player with the ability to multi-task
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
Must be willing to travel and be prepared to work on-call and overtime
Training will be provided
Bilingualism is considered an asset
