An exciting and rare opportunity exists for a passionate, motivated and enthusiastic Professional Service Technician to join our Miele Professional team in WA. Reporting into our Professional Senior Service Technician – SA/WA, no two days are the same!
Equipped with tools of trade provided by us, this crucial role involves getting out on the road in the red Miele van to visit our Professional sites and customers across our Laundry, Dishwashing and Laboratory categories. As a Professional Service Technician, you will be the face of the brand for many of our loyal customers - and you'll be ready to work on a range of quality Miele Professional appliances from new through to 10, 20, 30+ years old!
We're looking for someone who:
Prides themselves on providing the highest level of customer service, creating and maintain customer relationships;
Seeks employment in a premium brand with an emphasis on product quality, longevity and sustainability;
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with regard to time management and use of resources;
Has an enthusiastic and positive demeanour, thrives on meeting and exceeding targets, and is passionate about product service!
Job responsibilities will include:
Carrying out quality field service repairs at the customer's premises or in the workshop
Accurate and timely completion of necessary paperwork and service invoices
Management of van stock
Handling and resolving customer complaints in the field within company guidelines
Our ideal candidate will:
Have an ‘A’ Grade Electrical License or equivalent or, Restricted Electrical License or equivalent
Current and valid full WA driver's license
Yearly influenza vaccination
Sound technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical fault finding through effective problem-solving skills
Have a gas, refrigeration, household appliance or white goods background (advantageous but not required as we provide extensive product training)
Embrace changing technology and work efficiencies
Experience in commercial laundry, dishwashing and/or laboratory fields highly regarded however not essential
