A Snapshot of Your Day
This position is based at the Waipippi Wind Farm, located in New Zealand. The successful candidate must reside in the local area no further than 1 hours drive from the site.

How You’ll Make an Impact
Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on wind turbine towers, including scheduled and unscheduled tasks
Solve and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems such as pitch, speed control, and converters
Lead tools and spare parts' inventory for installations and repairs
Replace worn or faulty components and ensure accurate record keeping and reporting
Demonstrate strong dedication to SGRE safety standards, with excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
Possess electrical/mechanical aptitude, flexibility for on-call work, and ability to work independently or in small teams under varying wind conditions
What You Bring
Electrical trade qualification registered in New Zealand and a current unrestricted NZ driver’s license
Experience with Risk Assessments and Safe Work Method Statements
Comfortable working at heights with strong awareness of safety and environmental requirements
Desirable: Experience in wind industry or large-scale industrial projects, EST qualification, and current GWO certificate
Proven dedication to safety, high performance, and delivering effective solutions
Hardworking and proud of the industry and organization
About the team
Reporting to the Site Lead Harapaki Farm, your duties as a Service Technician will see you play a pivotal role in undertaking scheduled and unscheduled service and
maintenance of wind turbines and associated equipment, to ensure ongoing high availability of the wind farm for our client.
