At least 3 years of experience with the design, development, and support of Oracle and AWS databases
At least 2 years of ServiceNow support
Experience with database upgrades

Performs Proactive performance tuning
Control user access to the database and enrolling users and maintaining system security
Review Parameter configuration and tuning, cache management, and job scheduling
Monitor performance metrics, response times, request rates with alerts and logs
Ensure compliance with database vendor license agreement
Allocate system storage and planning future storage requirements for the database system
Install and upgrading the database software
Performs data backups

• Experience or familiarity with Agile development and testing methodology
• Exposure to ServiceNow applications like Telecommunication Management System (TSM), Telecommunications Network Inventory (TNI), Order Management Telecommunications (OMT) modules, etc.
• Experience with JIRA, Git and Confluence.
• Understanding of ITIL foundation or ITIL certified.
• AWS cloud and ServiceNow certifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline
• Experience working with large software systems including hardware integration and test.
• Experience working with multi-disciplinary technical development teams.
• Experience moving from a legacy application to a new application .
• Experience implementing AWS and Oracle databases.
• Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps and CI/CD implementation.
